The RSS Four Shaft Shredder, also known as the Quad Shaft Shredder, combines powerful size reduction with a controlled output fraction.
Four slow running shafts work together to grip the material, cut it and carry material that is still too large back into the cutting zone. High torque, low rotor speed and an integrated screen basket keep the material in the cutting chamber until the fraction size you want has been reached.
That makes the Four Shaft Shredder an interesting solution when you want both powerful reduction and control over the end fraction within one machine.
Depending on the knife configuration and screen size, the machine can be used for plastics, rubber, cable, electronics, production waste and various industrial residual flows, among others.
The Four Shaft Shredder can work standalone or be integrated into a complete RSS processing line.
