The rotor runs at high speed past fixed stator knives.
The material stays in the grinding chamber until it is small enough to pass through the screen. Rotor, knives, screen and power are matched to the material, the capacity and the particle size you need.

The RSS Granulator, also known as a Grinder, is designed for efficient further reduction to a fine and even end fraction.
A fast rotor with rotating knives works together with fixed knives to cut the material powerfully and precisely. A screen under the rotor sets the final fraction size. Material that is still too large stays in the cutting chamber until it has been reduced enough to leave through the screen.
The granulator can be used as a machine on its own, but it really comes into its own after a shredder. The shredder takes care of the pre-shredding, after which the granulator reduces the material further to a uniform fraction for further processing, separation or reuse.
Depending on the build, knife configuration and screen size, the machine can be used for plastics, rubber, cable, wood and other suitable industrial material flows, among others.
By matching shredder and granulator to each other, RSS can configure a complete size reduction line from input material to the end fraction you need.
