A stable process starts with a controlled material feed.
In practice a material flow is rarely completely constant. Differences in supply and in capacity between individual process steps can therefore be absorbed with storage and buffer systems.
Depending on the process, bunkers, hoppers, silos and other temporary storage systems can be used, among others. At the output end, big bag stations with a blower and a cyclone collect the processed material.
A well chosen buffer prevents needless downtime and lets the machines work as efficiently as possible within their optimal capacity range.
