Why second hand is often the sensible route
Not every job calls for a new machine. Sometimes there is an installation standing somewhere that after a proper overhaul does exactly what you need, for a fraction of the price. Certainly for a stream you are still building up, or an order with a deadline, that is the fastest route to running.
We only sell what we can get working again ourselves. That sounds obvious, but it is exactly the difference from a trader who passes a machine on without ever having opened it. If something jams, we are the ones who come to change the blades.
Questions
What does overhauled mean at RSS?
Rotor and blades checked or renewed, bearings and seals replaced where needed, control system verified and test run before the machine leaves. Not a machine that has been polished, but one that will run for years again.
Is there a warranty?
We give a warranty on the overhaul. The term is agreed per machine, because a freshly overhauled rotor is a different matter from a machine that was only inspected. What it covers is on paper before you sign.
Can I see it running first?
Yes. We run a machine before you decide, preferably on your own material. Send a sample and you see straight away which fraction comes out.
Nothing here suits me. Then what?
Then we put you on the list. Machines come past regularly and rarely stay long. Tell us the size and the material and you hear from us the moment something fits.

A machine standing idle at your place may run for years somewhere else. We name one price within days and arrange the dismantling and transport.
