What it is built for
The two shaft is the machine for the first pass. Where a single shaft delivers a calibrated fraction, the two shaft brings large and heavy batches down to a size that can be processed further.
Three classes
The range runs from a compact machine for a few hundred kilos an hour to a heavy duty version moving more than 25 tonnes an hour. Which class makes sense depends on your hourly capacity and on how solid the material is.
In a line
The two shaft is often combined with a second step, a granulator or a four shaft with a screen, to reach a defined particle size after all.

Questions about this machine
Does the two shaft deliver a calibrated fraction?
No, and that is not its job. This machine is there for the first pass: bringing large, heavy batches down to a size that can be processed further. For a fixed particle size you put a four shaft or a granulator behind it.
How many tonnes per hour does it manage?
From half a tonne to well over 25 tonnes an hour, depending on the class and on how solid the material is. Tell us what you want to move per hour and we will say which class is realistic.
Is it loud?
Remarkably little, for what it does. Two slowly rotating shafts with high torque make less noise than a high speed machine at the same power.
Can it take whole IBC containers?
Yes. For bulky material that sits on top of the shafts we supply a hydraulic pusher, so the feed stays even.
