Fine reduction to regranulate
Granulators
Professional high speed granulators for reducing plastics to regranulate. High throughput and a clean, reusable end product.
In short
A granulator is the last step before material becomes raw material again. Where a shredder reduces, this machine grinds on to a grain an extruder or injection moulding machine will accept.
The machines are built from solidly welded heavy steel plate, in three classes: small, medium and heavy duty. Shape does not matter, provided the opening and the power are chosen for it.

What they are built for
A granulator is the last step before material becomes raw material again. Where a shredder reduces, this machine grinds on to a grain an extruder or an injection moulding machine will accept.
Shape does not matter
Pre-shredded material, larger chunks or whole containers: the machines take a wide range of shapes, provided the opening and the power are chosen for it.
Construction
The machines are built from standardised heavy steel plate, solidly welded. That makes them heavy, but also stable at high speed and long lasting.
What sets this machine apart
Rotor to suit the job
Front and back V rotor, ladder rotor, F rotor for flexible material such as PET and L rotor for rubber.
Hydraulic opening
On the medium and heavy duty models the hood opens hydraulically, so changing blades is not a day of work.
Sound damping enclosure
High speed does not have to mean loud. The enclosure keeps the noise level in the hall workable.
External bearings
The bearings sit outside the cutting chamber, away from dust and moisture.
Control to your standard
Siemens, Schneider or ABB, depending on what else is in your hall. Delivered CE certified and tested.

Questions about this machine
What is the difference from a shredder?
A shredder reduces, a granulator grinds on. The granulator runs fast and brings material down to a grain an extruder or injection moulding machine will accept. Usually it sits behind a shredder rather than instead of one.
Which rotor type do I need?
A front or back V rotor for rigid plastics, an F rotor for flexible material such as PET and an L rotor for rubber. If in doubt, send a sample and we will try it.
What about noise and dust?
The enclosure brings the noise down to a level that stays workable in the hall. The bearings sit outside the cutting chamber, away from dust and moisture, which extends their life considerably.
Can it handle tyres?
Yes, with an L rotor and the right screen. Car tyres are one of the standard applications. Tell us whether they are passenger or truck tyres, that changes the power needed.

01
Single Shaft Shredder
Versatile all rounder
Slow running, versatile all rounder with a rotor length of 500 to 3500 mm. Reduces hard and tough materials alike: paper, plastics, cable, rubber, nylon, aluminium and wood.
02
Two Shaft Shredder
Powerful coarse pre-reduction
Powerful twin shaft for coarse pre-reduction of bulk batches and heavy materials. High torque, low speed, reliable in continuous operation.
03
Four Shaft Shredder
Calibrated in a single pass
Four shafts with an integrated screen for a controlled, calibrated particle size in a single pass. Ideal for a defined end fraction.
